AB, US MERCHANT MARINE WORLD WAR II, KOREA James Ronald Regan, age 84, passed from this life to rest and awaits Christ's call at his second coming. He was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola. He was a Builder, Land Developer and Real Estate Broker for over 60 years. He served his country as a merchant seaman during World War II and was injured on D-Day at Omaha Beach. He also served during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his father, Seaborn Riley Regan; his mother, Tecey P. Lemler; son, Daniel T. Regan; daughters, Angela Regan Sears and Sarah Regan; grandson, Kevin Bridges. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara; sons, Ronald C. Bridges and James Spencer Regan; daughters, Katherine S. Regan of Pensacola, FL, Elinor Regan-Smith of El Cajon, CA, and Tiffany R. Rodriquez (Justin) of Chapel Hill, TN; granddaughters, Dawn Bridges Brown of McDavid, FL, Barbara Cox, of Pensacola, FL, Tabitha Sears of Chapel Hill, TN; grandsons, Danny Bridges, Gary Cox, Jesse Fowler of Pensacola, FL, Brewer Regan of TX, Mitchell and Ben Rodriquez of Chapel Hill, TN, Dino Smith of El Cajon, CA; great-grandsons, Devon Denham of Milton, FL, Zack Bridges, Alex Cox of Pensacola, FL and Travis Bridges of McDavid, FL. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of CCU at Baptist Hospital for their wonderful care; also his caregivers, Robert Grissett, Jeanette Hufanda and Lisa Gaines during his last illness. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2009 at FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Parkway with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be Monday, September 14, 2009 at 1:15 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or bring food items for Manna Food Bank or jackets, coats or sweaters for Coat Off Your Back Charity FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Parkway, is in charge of arrangements.
