∼ OBITUARY OF SAMMIE BROWNLEE Sammie BROWNLEE, 78, of San Antonio, formerly of Perryton, died July 26, 2000. Graveside Services were held Saturday, July 29, at Ochiltree County Cemetery with Dr. Jeff Knighton, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wright Funeral Directors in Shamrock. She was born in Farmersville, and graduated from Denton High School. She attended Texas State College for Women in Denton and the University of Texas at Austin. She and her husband, William T. BROWNLEE, moved to Perryton following his graduation from the University of Texas Law School. He died in 1967, and she lived in Perryton for several more years until moving to San Antonio. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and a granddaughter, Sally Rhea SALMON, in 1996. She is survived by four daughters, Nan Tandy PRESSON of Wichita Falls, Topsy Ann SPELLMAN of Victoria, Patty Rhea BROWNLEE and Billie Bester BROWNLEE, both of San Antonio; one sister, Jerry TRADER of Corpus Christi; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
