Cooper Review - Sept. 30, 1965 Final rites for Mrs. Nannie Sonora Robnett, 73, widow of Charlie T. Robnett who farmed in the Klondike area for many years before his death in 1959, were held last Friday at 2pm, at the Klondike Baptist Church. The Rev. Bob I. Johnson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cooper, who officiated and internment was in the New Klondike Cemetery by Delta Funeral Home. Mrs. Robnett died on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 4:40pm in a Lubbock hospital. She had lived in the Klondike area most of her life, moving to Lubbock two years ago. A daughter of Doc and Janey (Clawson) Rainey, she was born in Klondike on Dec. 4, 1891. Surviving are a foster daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Hooten of Klondike; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Stephenson of Rt. 4, Lubbock; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. ************************************************************************************************************************************** The Paris News Fri, Sep 24, 1965 · Page 4 Robnett Funeral Paris News Service COOPER - Last rites for Mrs. Charlie T. Robnett, 73, who died Sept. 22 in Methodist Hospital, Lubbock, were set Friday at 2 p.m. at Klondike. The Rev. Bob L. Johnson, pastor of First Baptist Church here, was to officiate at the Klondike Baptist Church, burial in New Klondike Cemetery being arranged by Delta Funeral Home of Cooper. The former Nancy Sonora Rainey, daughter of Doc and Janey (Clawson) Rainey, Mrs. Robnett was born at Klondike, Dec. 4, 1891. She lived there until moving two years ago to Lubbock.
