Bio

Carroll Wallace was born in McKinney,Texas on Sept. 26, 1916 to Jessie and Lottie Griser Wallace. Carroll passed away in Kaufman, Texas on April 9, 2009. Carroll was raised in Canton and then moved to Kaufman when he was a junior in high school. He graduated from Kaufman High School. Carroll served in the Texas National Guard for four years and retired from the City of Dallas after 20 years. He as a past member and chief of the Kaufman Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Grace Christian Church in Kaufman. Carroll was preceded in death by a brother Larry Wallace. On Nov. 25, 1939 Carroll married Janet Norton in Terrell.
