Obituary (The Austin American Statesman, 30 July 1944) John Lacey, 32, died suddenly at his home Saturday afternoon. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Beulah Lacey; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Lacey of Austin; two step daughters, Margaret Lankford and Dorothy Lankford, both of Austin; one sister, Corp Hattie Ruth Lacey of Pueblo, Color., and one brother, Lt.
