Rachel Larue Mann Brumley Welch , 85, of Iuka, MS, died Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Mrs. Welch was a member of the Iuka Church of Christ. She was retired from Genesco after 20 years of employment and was also a licensed practical nurse who worked in private duty nursing. She loved living life, and especially enjoyed traveling, shopping, and visiting with people. Rachel’s favorite thing was spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s activities. She is survived by one son, Stanley W. Brumley of Burnsville; three daughters, Betty Compton of Burnsville, Nelda Belue (Teddy) of Tishomingo, and Shirley Embrey (Jim) of Iuka; 12 grandchildren, Camille Beals, Brian Belue, Michael Belue, Cortney Marlar, Casey Carrillo, Patricia Lynch, Leanne Harris, Bret Embry, Bart Embry, Tonya Parker, Michael George, and Misty Rickman; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Chester Prentiss Brumley and James Clarence Welch; a grandchild, April Johnson; her parents, Jessie Lee Mann and Annie Osborn Mann Carlilse ; and a sister, Ollie Ruth Mann. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Lance Foster. Interment will follow in Hubbard Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brian Belue, Brett Embry, Michael George, Jason Rickman, A. T. Marlar, and Michael Belue. Honorary pallbearers include Jim Embry, Cesar Carrillo, and Jackie Beals.
