Bio

O'BRIEN - Bennis E. Keys, 85, of Peralta. N.M., and formerly of Haskell County, died Tuesday in Spiro. Okla., after a long illness. Services were held in O'Brien First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Trice officiating. Burial followed in Rochester Cemetery. directed by Smith Funeral Home of Knox City. Mrs. Keys was born in O'Brien and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist and the widow of Lindsey D. Keys. Survivors include three sons, Bill D. Keys of Peralta, NM., Kenneth R. Brewer of Oklahoma and Dorothy Keys of Louisiana; one brother, Dennis Qualls of O‘Brien; one sister, Bondell Walker of Fort Worth; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
