Bio

JC Tidrow, 83, of Haskell passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, 2 pm at the Assembly of God Church of Haskell. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Holden McCauely Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 pm at the funeral home. JC was born on November 9, 1925 in Haskell to the late Bryant Clarence Tidrow and Delia Mae Conner. He married Anne Doris Brown on May 5, 1948 in Stamford, TX. JC proudly served our country in the the US Army during WW II. He was self employed as a roofing contractor for many years. Survivors include his wife Anne Doris Tidrow; two daughters, Linda Martinez and husband Robert of Haskell and Melanie Baugh and husband Allen "Toby" of Haskell; two sons, Denny Tidrow and wife Travina of Navasota, TX and JT Tidrow and wife Alicia of Haskell; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one sister Zetta Dutton of Haskell; and one brother Gaston Tidrow and wife Willie Faye of Haskell. JC was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Wayland "Chick" Tidrow.
