Bio
Born in Gols, Hungary (now a part of Austria). His parents were Matthias Geisslinger (1817-1886) and Maria [Portschy] Geisslinger (1815-1889). Both were born in Gols, Hungary and spent their lives there. Matthias Geistlinger married Rosina Fleischacker on January 19, 1868 in Gols, Hungary. They had 10 children (the first 4 have FAG memorials): Johann (1868-1924) Paul (1870-1954) Susanna (1873-1950) Mathias (1880-1944) They had two Terese's: Therese #1 (1875-1876) died in Hungary Therese #2 (b. 1877) immigrated to the US with her parents and siblings in 1881. We have no other information about her. They had two Elizabeth's: Elizabeth #1 (1879-1883), died in Hungary Elizabeth #2 (1883-1965) lived in Lancaster Co. Ne. - married name Hinrichs. They also had two other children born in Nebraska who died as infants: Michael (1884-1889) Maria (1886-1889). Matthias was a farmer in Olive Branch, Nebraska.
