---- Darwin L. Hicks ---- Darwin L. Hicks, 84, of Murray, Ky. and formerly of What Cheer, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 1993 at Lourdes Hospital in Peducah, Ky. He was born February 5, 1909 in Washington County to F. L. Hicks and Cora King Hicks. He was a member of Peas Lutheran Church in Holiday, Fla. He was a retired master barber, and a U. S. Navy Veteran. He married Sadie Josephine Twinde January 20, 1973; she survives. He is also survived by a son, Sammy Hicks; a sister, Pauline Dill of Keota; and two grandsons. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 20, at 1 p.m. at the Harden Funeral Chapel in What Cheer. Burial was at the Sixteen Cemetery near Thornburg. From unknown newspaper
