Funeral Services Funeral services for William Wesley Whatley were held at 3:30 P.M. Tuesday at he First Baptist Church in Hallsville. Arrangements by the Rains and Talley Funeral Home. W.W. Whatley Dies Monday William Wesley Whatley, 92, retired farmer of Hallsville, died early Monday at his home, 108 Bell St. in Hallsville. Funeral Arrangements with Rains and Talley are incomplete with burial to be in the Ashland cemetery. Mr. Whatley was born on Oct. 12,1868 in Eufaula, Ala., the son of Hiram Whatley and Mrs. Georgia Ann Stone Whatley. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hallsville. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Hunt, Hallsville; Mrs. J.E. Simmons, Hallsville; Mrs. T.C. Caldwell of Mount View, Okla.; four sons, Woody Whatley, Longview; F.W. Whatley, Marshall; J.J. Whatley, Austin; and Howard Whatley, Wichita, Kan.; and one sister, Mrs. A.D. Maddox, Longview, 24 grandchildren and several great-grand children.
