Bio
She moved, with her parents, to Burlington Junction, Missouri, where she received her education including college at Maryville, Missouri, majoring in music. She came with her parents in 1910 to Arcadia, Nebraska where she met and then was united in marriage to Albert E. (Bert) Russell on September 16, 1911. They lived at Arcadia, Nebraska eleven years. After living in Santa Ana, California for a short time, in 1923, they then returned to live in Broken Bow, Nebraska. They quietly ce1ebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on September 11,1976. Her husband died shortly thereafter. Mrs. Russell was an active member o£ the First United Presbyterian Church, until age and illness prevented her then from attending regularly. Ura was active for many years in the mission circles of the church too, and was a member o£ the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She leaves one son, Richard and his wife Geraldine (nee Smith, daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Smith of Broken Bow, Nebraska) and they of Sacramento, California, and also by 3 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom live in Sacramento, California, and also by 3 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom live in Sacramento, California, and also by several nieces and nephews.
