Jennie was born to Oliver P. and Martha J. (née GULLEDGE) HENLEY. She was a younger sister to Mary Elizabeth and Joseph. Jennie married Benjamin Franklin CROFT, son of Van Rensaler and Mary L. (née WILSON) CROFT. The couple were the parents of: Amos A. Clemmie Cora Eva & J. W.
