Frances Laverne Fisher, 71, passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Tolar Baptist Church. Burial: Tolar Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials: American Cancer Society. Mrs. Fisher was born Aug. 7, 1933, in Dallas to Ernest and Rosa Aday Prestridge. She married Robert "Bob" Fisher on June 4, 1954, in Dallas. She was an accounting clerk for TU Electric Co. She was a member of Tolar Baptist Church. Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Cindy Fisher; and a son-in-law, Troy Gerdes. Survivors: Husband, Bob Fisher of Tolar; sons, Ron Fisher and wife, Cathy, of Tolar and Gary Fisher of Arlington; daughters, Lori Gross and Diane Meadows and husband, Dodd, all of Tolar; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
