Printed on the Tupelo Daily Journal, Tupelo, Mississippi dated January 7, 2001 MABEN Evelyn Holland Love, 85, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at Oktibbeha County Hospital. She was born March 2, 1915, in Maben. She was a retired homemaker and a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Center Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bryan Sherman officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include seven daughters, Eula Emerson of Adamsville, Tenn., Mary Reed of Smyrna, Ga., Peggy Baines and Kitty Love of Marietta, Ga., Connie Althen of Starkville, Vickie Crowley of Thomasville, Ala., and Penny Love of Maben; two sons, Frank Love Jr. of Tillatobia and Joe Love of Columbus; 25 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank Love; and two daughters, Ruth Evelyn McDill and Phyllis "Cherie" Love. Visitation will be from 4:30 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services Monday.
