Mr. Walter David "Buck" Langston, 79, died Tuesday morning, April 22, 1975 at 3:30 a.m. at the Grenada County Hospital.He had lived his entire life at Calhoun City and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and Woodsmen of the World.Born Aug. 21, 1895 in Calhoun County, he was the son of Hugh Langston and Gillie Ann Morgan Langston.He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lura Kate Cheatham of Killeen, Texas; one half-sister, Mrs. Carl Wagner, of Hernando; five grandchildren, Langston Rogers of Delta State University, Cleveland, David Allen Rogers of Memphis, TN, Mrs. Lamar James of Gore Springs, Douglas Cheatham Sharon Cheatham, both of Killeen, TX; and five great grandchildren. contributed by- Jeanette Sellers Holloway
