Printed in the Times Post, Houston, Mississippi dated January 26 1933 Calhoun Doctor Is Victim Of Death Calhoun City, Jan. 21—Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. R B Patterson, pastor of the Baptist Church here, were held Saturday for Dr. W H Hardin, who death occurred at his home here. He was 81 years of age and a lifelong citizen of this county. He took his medical degree at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn., about 41 years ago and began practicing at his home in the Reid community in the eastern part of the county. From there he moved to Pittsboro, where he remained for some years and then moved here, being among the first settlers of this town, more than 25 years ago. He was active in practice up to a year ago, when his health failed and gradually declined. His wife preceded him in death by only a few months. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Corrie Revis and Mrs. Urania Webb, also by a sister, Mrs. H C Cannon, Hillsboro, Texas, and a brother, Eli Hardin, Oklahoma City, Okla. He was a member of the Baptist church and a Mason. He was buried here Saturday with Masonic honors.
