Bio

Daughter of Calvin Pope - Tennie Vashti Mary Amanda Pope married David Rinsey Livengood in 1886 at Georgetown, Texas. The couple moved to Haskell County in 1886. Services for Mary A. Livengood, 71, were held at the Baptist Church with Rev. H.A. Whatley, pastor and Rev. William A. Alvis, retired Baptist preacher officiating. She was a member of the Baptist Church since 1879. She died at the home of a daughter. Survived by five children; two brothers; three sisters; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Kinney Funeral Home Book 1935-1939, page 125
