Bio

Belle Fourche, June 19 --- Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Anna Ducharme, 87-year-old Newell resident who died Sunday night at her home. Services will be conducted from the Frost and Son funeral home with Rev. L.A. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the St. Onge cemetery. Anna Reddick was born Dec. 25, 1863, in Adams county, Ohio. She came to Belle Fourche in 1892 to join her brother. She was married Oct. 15, 1901, to Jerry Ducharme, who survives her. The couple lived on a stock ranch on the Moreau river north of Newell until 1937, when they moved to Newell. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four brothers and two sisters. The brothers are Cal Reddick of San Marino, Calif., Ollie Reddick of St. Onge, Elmer Reddick of Wood Lake, Neb., and Roy Reddick of Sidney, Mont. The sisters are Effie Hockwalt of Dayton, Ohio, and Isa Gall of Nyssa, Ore. --- From The Rapid City Journal - June 19, 1951
