Charles Isaac "Ike" TALKINGTON was a son of Leonidas M. "Lee" TALKINGTON of Kentucky and the former Margaret L. RECTOR of Missouri. Paternal grandparents were Isaac TALKINGTON of Kentucky and the former Eliza MORROW of South Carolina. Maternal grandparents were Charles RECTOR of Virginia and the former Isabell ATKINS of Kentucky. He was the widow of the former Anna Katherine "Kate" WHITE . He was a building contractor by trade.
