~WALTER MURCH "TEX" VANDVER~ Funeral services for Walter Murch "Tex" Vandver, 86, were held Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed in Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland. He was born Sunday, July 23, 1922 in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Ollis Edward and Eva Jane Vandver. He passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 in Cleveland. His parents; his children, Toney Agnes, Lawrence Lloyd "Bubba" and James Albert Vandver; his brothers, William and Orland Vandver; and his sister, Katie Thomas, preceded him in death. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Betty Ruth Vandver; daughters, Wilma Whitton, Darline Parker and husband, Walter, Jerrie Ott and Carolyn Ruby; son, Melvin Vandver and wife, Brenda; and sisters, Bertha Lee Bagley, Edna Coyle and Ovie Rollins. All services were entrusted under the care of Neal Funeral Home, Cleveland.
