Son of Richard Allen "Dick" Pauley and Sarah Katherine "Kate" Dancer. El Paso Herald-Post El Paso, Texas, Tuesday April 08, 1975 PAULEY Judge Russell A. Pauley, Dell City, Texas, passed away Sunday. He was born in Coleman County, Texas, and lived his early years there. He purchased land in Dell City, Texas in 1949 and moved there in 1950. He was one of the founding settlers of the Dell Valley and helped organize the First State Bank of Dell City and served as a Director of the bank. Judge Pauley was President of the Dell Valley Vegetable Growers Association, past President of the Chamber of Commerce and Community Association. He was justice of the peace, Hudspeth County, Texas, a 25 year member of the Flying Farmers Association, and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. During WWII he served as Instructor of Aerobatic Training for the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Dell City Masonic Lodge No. 1379 A. F. & A. M.; Scottish Rite Bodies, and the El Maida Shrine Temple. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Mildred Pauley, Dell City, Texas; Mother, Mrs. Kate Morris, San Angelo, Texas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00p.m. in the Dell City Methodist Church. Rev. Wayne Hampton officiating. Masonic graveside services will be conducted by Dell City Masonic Lodge, No 1379 AF&AM. Interment will follow in the Dell City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George McConnell, Walter Foreman, Olan Foreman, Bob Templeton, Gene Lutrick, and Lendal Barker. Arrangements by Harding-Orr & McDaniel, Montana Avenue.
