Gentry Jr and Wife Jamie of Bonham, Texas Grandson Joseph Gentry and Wife Caini of Wylie, Texas Granddaughter Jennifer of Dallas, Texas Grandson Terry Gentry and Wife Erin of Providence Village, Texas Great Grandchildren Rubert, Ruban, Romeo and Jalisa Garcia of Melissa, Texas Zoe Gentry of Wylie, Texas Brother Larry Turner and Wife Beckie of Nevada, Texas Sister Gracy Simmons of Wylie, Texas Sister Carol Spence and Husband Harold of Nevada, Texas Sister Alesia Taylor and Husband David of Royse City, Texas Very Special Niece, Amelia Ann Cook of McRae, AR Longtime Dear Friend Jesse Criswell Arlington, Texas And a Host of many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins that She loved. Proceeded in Death by Her Husband of 34 Years James O. Gentry Grandson Tommy Gentry Parents Grady and Ila Turner Wanda Graduated from Wylie High School in 1956. She was a Drum Majorette and Often spoke Fondly of the memories she had with her classmates. Wanda Married James O. Gentry Sr on May 6, 1955 in Wylie, Texas Upon Graduation from Wylie High School, She went to work for Republic National Insurance of Dallas. In 1962, Wanda Began a 36 yr career with the City of Garland. She was Instrumental in Developing the Data Entry Billing sytem for the city. She Retired in 1998. Wanda was not one to be without a job. She went to work at commonwealth Title. Wylie, Texas for Ten years and men proceeded to works for Wylie ISD for another Ten years, Retiring in Dee of 2020 Due to declining health. During most of her working Career she also worked second jobs. She has was the "Epitome" of a Workaholic. When not working, Wanda loved to Travel and was an animal lover. Wanda was the "Queen of Garage Sales and Thrift Stores" as evidenced by her collection of odds and ends and Miscellaneous Junk. Wanda Was a member of First Baptist Church, Wylie and a longtime member of First Baptist Church Wylie and a longtime member of Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. Wanda was one of a kind and was deeply loved. We'll miss her.
