She was born Sunday, July 22, 1945 to Earl E. Smith Jr. and Katy Winnelle (Sullivan) Smith. The lives of Donna and her mother, Winnelle Smith, were both cut short on Saturday as a result of a tragic car accident. Known to many as "Grannie", Donna was a fun-loving person. She loved flowers and enjoyed working in the garden. She liked leg warmers and had a large collection of about 20 pair. She also enjoyed painting. She will be remembered as a colorful person.
