Ruth married, before 1870, William H Wood Sr. Ruth married, 2 Mar 1886, Robert Knox Gillespie. Mother of (by William) Albert H, Mary E, Ruth, Kathern, John Edwin, William and George W Wood. Mother of (by Robert) Annie Lee, Margaret Lee, Robbie May, Jesse H and James Perkins Gillespie. Granddaughter of Jacob Hardin Perkins & Maria Ferrell and Ashell Dancer & Mary Ward.
