Elinor Egr The funeral for Elinor Egr, 83, of Brainard, formerly of Pragu, will be 10 a.m., Monday, at Holy Trinity Church, at Brainard. She died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, at Butler County Health Care Center. Elinor Woita, was born June 9, 1915, at Weston. She graduated from Weston High School in 1933. She married Anton Egr, July 30, 1935, at Weston. The couple lived in Prague uantil 1952, when they moved to Brainard. They owned and operated Brainard Cafe, until their retirement in 1975. She was a member Holy Trinity Parish, Parish Council Catholic Women, Brainard Quilters, and FHA Adopt A Grandma. Survivors include two daughters: Charlotte Swanda of Brainard, and Mary Lee (Mrs. Marion) Hain of Bee; a son, David (wife, Linda) Egr of Lincoln; three sisters: Lucille (Mrs. Howard) Hopper of Wahoo, Dorothy Achord of Lincoln, and Wink (Dr. Robert Garvey) of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two brothers: Julius (wife, Adeline) Woita of Omaha, and Joe (wife, Rita) Woita of North Bend; a brother-in-law, Gilbert Salter; two sisters-in-law: Mary Ruzek of Lincoln, and Anne Bouc of Ceresco; five brothers-in-law: Frank (wife, Adeline) Egr of Prague, Emil Egr of Valparaiso, Charles (wife, June) Egr of Wahoo, George (wife, Genevieve) Egr of Weston, and Stanley (wife, Norma) Egr of Vail, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband; infant son; son-in-law; infant great-grandson; sister; four brothers-in-law; and two sisters-in-law. The Rev. Stephen Cooney, will officiate Monday's service. Visitation will be 1-5 p.m., Sunday, at Holesovsky Mortuary, in Brainard, and one hour prior to the rosary service. Additional visitation will be until 9:45 a.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, in Weston. Svoboda Funeral Home, in Wahoo, is in charge of arrangements.
