JC "Rip" Ripple peacefully passed from this life to join his beloved wife Christine, on August 8, 2009. JC was born on September 3, 1929 in Taylor, TX to the union of Joe and Alice Ripple. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Eugene Ripple. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Mike Ripple and wife Karen, Bob Ripple and wife Rebecca, Christy Belvin and husband David, Mary Oetken and husband Glenn; grandchildren, Christopher, Heather, Jennifer, Jonathan, Mandy, Jonathan, Christopher, Lauren, Jake and Casey; 10 great grandchildren and his good friend Libby Morton. JC attended Taylor High School and was an outstanding player on the Taylor Ducks football team. He served his country in the National Guard, a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of Local Union 211. JC was an avid boater, shrimper and lived to fish. He lived by the motto "Don't Worry Be Happy". The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
