SULLIVAN - William R. "Woody" Gustin, 77, of Sullivan died 4:45 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 29, 1999) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan. Memorials: First United Methodist Church Building Fund, Sullivan. Mr. Gustin was born in Moultrie County on Jan. 1, 1922, the son of Orval and Lillian Ballard Gustin. He was a retired treasurer for Moultrie County, where he served 20 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Sullivan, and the George A. Sentel Masonic Lodge 764, Sullivan. He married Helen D. DeWald on July 18, 1942. Surviving are his wife; daughters, Sharon Warren and husband Terry and Pat Larkin and husband Bill, all of Sullivan; brothers, Brice Gustin of Kenosha, Wis.; Roger Gustin of Madera, Calif.; sister, Carmen Florey of Sullivan; grandchildren, Derick Warren and wife Rebecca, Bart Warren, Kathy Hart and husband Brian and Nikki Larkin; step-grandchildren, Libby Booker and Billy John Larkin; six great-grandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren.
