Ethel Irene Pounds, 97, of Amarillo died Friday, May 28, 2010. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Llano Mausoleum with Vicki Shankle of Christian Science Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Ethel was born Jan. 22, 1913, in La Junta, Colo. She spent the majority of her life in Amarillo, where she was a member of the Christian Science Church. Throughout the years, Ethel collected unusual plates that she found during her travels.
