Bessie Estelle (Bratcher) Miller - Obituary Mrs. Bessie B. Miller, age 83, of 313 E. Pine in West passed away 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 1983 at West Community Hospital. Funeral Services 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 1983 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. O. A. Taylor officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Miller was born June 29, 1900 in Milford, Texas and lived in the West area for the past 66 years. She was a housewife and had worked in the Textile Mills for several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wet. Her husband, Albert Miller, died January 7, 1967. She is survived by a daughter, Ms. Mary Lou Long of West; a half sister, Mrs. Nellie Belcher of Waxahachie; three grandchildren, James David Long and Karen Michell, both of Garland and Kathy Stocks of Houston; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Mansel Conner, Joe Hykel, Patrick Hykel, Billy Joe Miller, Bill Foster, and Jack Clements. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Jose Eisma, Dr. B. D. Pierce, Leo Miller and Norman Keen.
