From: November 30, 1939 Winn Parish Enterprise T. J. Peterson, 74, of Ward Ten, Is Claimed By Death Last Rites Were Held At Yankee Springs Nov. 24 Thomas J. Peterson, age 73 years, 9 months, and 3 days of age, of Ward Ten, died at his home November 23, 1939, and was buried at the Yankee Springs Cemetery the following day. Rev. R. B. Kitchingham, Baptist minister, conducted the service. Mr. Peterson was a farmer and was well known throughout the parish. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. T. J. Peterson; one daughter, Mrs. P. F. Huddleston, and four sons, Otis, Dayton, and Aubry, of Goldonna Rt. 1, and Henry Peterson of Urania.
