Bio

Obituary William J. Murdoch, born 13 May 1828, died 24 April 1924. William J. Murdock ( spelled as in paper) died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mays, south of Saltillo. He was nearing his 96th birthday, and therefore the oldest citizen in Hopkins county. The remains were buried in Greenwood Cemetery.
