Son of Gustav & Amelia (Petersen) Menz. His mother died shortly after his birth and he was adopted by his maternal grandparents, Peter and Louise Petersen. Married to Adeline Hotovy on 8-22-1951 at St. Mary's Catholic Church at David City, NE. WW II - US Navy - USS Bennington, USS Ticondragoa, & USS Lexington - 1944/1947
