Leonard Leito, 84, of Granbury left this life Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Leonard was a very loving husband, father, papa and friend. He loved the Lord and served Him faithfully for all his life. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. When he came home, he married Marjorie Lane on Sept. 20, 1945. He was a member of the Riverside Masonic Lodge and the Moslah Shrine Temple. Leonard began as a carpenter and later started several successful businesses, Butler Bros., Leito and McDonald, Builders Equipment and Supply, Jess Brooks Inc., Tex/Star Industries and Leito's Supply Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; a sister; two sons; one nephew; and one great-grandchild. Survivors: Loving wife of 63 years, Marjorie Leito; daughter, Beverly Dugan and husband, John; daughter, Terri Rhodes and husband, Steve; son, Cary Leito; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
