Leon Johnson IUKA - Leon Johnson, 85, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, at his residence. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He enjoyed his metal detector, gardening and spending time with his friends and family. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel with John Hardwick officiating. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Willie Mae Elliott Johnson of Iuka; one son, Eddie Johnson (Johnnie) of Corinth; two daughters, Lula Mae "Shorty" Bonds and Martha Robinson (Joe) all of Iuka; seven grandchildren, Leigh Ann Barnett, Mandy Russell (Jason), Dusty Robinson, Tim Bonds, Jeff Bonds, Ashley Jennings (Bret), and Lacy Gigerich (Craig); and 10 great-grandchildren, Zack and Ely Barnett, Eathen and Walker Taylor, Jermey Russell, Lindsay Russell, Shelby Bonds, Michael and Elizabeth Jennings and Lillyanna Gigerich; and one sister, Bertha Jean Lewis (L.R.) of Iuka.
