Mrs. Smith died July 27, 2009, in Tyler. She was born April 24, 1925, in Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include son, Don Smith and wife Laura; daughter, Lisa Sadler and husband Daniel; brother, Roger Pace and wife Sharon; sisters, Yvonne Wintters, Betty Harrell and husband Wayne; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
