Bio
Charlie Frank Haba, age 84, passed away at the IOOF Nursing Home, Ennis on Sunday, June 7, 2009. Charlie was born in Ennis, Texas on December 11, 1924 to John and Frances (Maliska) Haba. He grew up in the Telico and Boyce areas and attended St. John Catholic School, Ennis. On February 29, 1960 he married Marion Hejny and they made their home in Ennis. Charlie served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Charlie worked for Ennis Business Forms for more than thirty-one years as an Ink Producer and also at A. Gunthard Corporation. He was a member of the St. John Catholic Church and the KJT. He is survived by his wife, Marion Haba, of Ennis; one daughter, Cathy Gauger, and her husband, Mike, of Center Point, Iowa; mother-in-law, Mrs. L.L. Hejny, of Ennis; two sisters-in-law: Margie Dvorak, of Ennis and Bessie Sanders, of Dallas and two grandchildren: Erin and Lucas. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009 in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Ennis at 10 a.m. under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. www.jekeevermortuary.com
