Pauletta Wickliffe Conway, age 82, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009 in the Select Specialty Hospital of DeSoto. Pauletta was born April 3, 1927 to Jess Wickliffe and Viola Parks Wickliffe. Pauletta was raised in Ferris, Texas where she attended school and graduated from Ferris High School. She married James Alvin Conway in April of 1966 and made their home in Dallas. After the death of her husband, Pauletta moved back to Ferris in 1990. Pauletta was a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one son, Robert Barnes of Denver, Colorado; two daughters: Carolyn, and her husband, Johnnie Bills, Sr. of Ferris, Texas and Connie, and her husband, Tommy Canipe, of Littleton, Colorado; three brothers: O'Dell Wickliffe, Marion Lee Wickliffe, and Emmit Wickliffe; one sister, Maurine Matthews; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Alvin Conway; two brothers: Curtis Wickliffe and Johnny Wickliffe; one sister, Peggy Griffith and one son, Richard Donaldson. Visitation will be Monday, May 25, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Ennis Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Ennis Chapel with interment to follow at Restland, Dallas, under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. www.jekeevermortuary.com
