Bio
Elizabeth Ann Machovsky, age 74, passed away May 14, 2009 in the IOOF Nursing Home. Elizabeth was born September 22, 1934 to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lucan. She was raised in Ennis and graduated from St. John Catholic School. On September 15, 1951 she married Thomas R. Machovsky. Elizabeth was employed at Ennis Mattress and Furniture Outlet for many years. She taught dance lesson in Polka and Czech dance from 1961 to 1983. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, The Czech Heritage Society, and the Golden Crusaders. She is survived by one son Ernest Machovsky of Ennis. She was preceded in death by her Husband Thomas Machovsky on December 23, 2003. Rosary will be at 7 p.m., May 15, 2009 in the J.E. Keever Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2009 at St. John Catholic Church with Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of J.E.
