Bio

Lois Elaine Stephens, 77, of Silver Creek, MS formerly of Lovington passed away 9:30 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2008 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center Hospital. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Lois was born June 11, 1930 in Sullivan, the daughter of Lawrence and Fern (Elzy) Pierson. She married Dale M. Patrick in Bethany in 1948. She married Daniel C. Stephens in 1978. She was a member of the Crooked Creek Baptist Church, Silver Creek, MS, where she taught Sunday and Bible School. Lois is survived by her husband, Daniel of Silver Creek, MS; son, Stan (Judy) Patrick of Geneva; grandchildren, Lindsay Patrick of Geneva, Allison Yeager of Monticello, Brandon Patrick of Chicago; great-granddaughter, Raegan Yeager of Monticello; sister, Betty (Joe) Cole of Sullivan.
