On double marker with Glen C. Starley (1921-1996); married "Dec. 4, 1948" Billie Lee Starley, 90, of Crowley, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Rock Church Cemetery in Hood County with Pastor Ed Dittfurth officiating. Billie was born on September 11, 1922 in Commerce, Texas to the late James Claude and Elizabeth Manley. She Married Glen Starley on December 4, 1948 in Fort Worth. He preceded her in death on September 5, 1996. Billie was a member of Grace Church of Crowley. She was a sales clerk for Motts. Survivors include her niece, Sherrie Evans and husband Scott of Stephenville; great-nephews, Van Evans of Milwaukee, WI, and Jay Evans of Austin. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Cleghorn, and a brother, Brewer Manley. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Texas 1840 E. Lancaster Ave. Fort Worth, Texas 7603.
