Obit: PALESTINE ? Hazel Windham Daniels, 91, of Odessa and formerly of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at her home. Hazel was born June 2, 1913, in Quitman, Texas, to Dave and Elzadie Windham. Affectionately know as ?Nanny? by all that knew and loved her, Hazel was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, J.T. Daniels; and infant son, Jackie. She is survived by son, David T. Daniels and wife Bess of Humble; granddaughter, Jackie Daniels McClinton of Odessa; grandson, Jay Daniels and wife Deidra of Magnolia; and her three great-grandchildren, Danielle Daniels, Tommy McClinton and Megan McClinton, all of Odessa. She also leaves behind family in Odessa, Sharon and Chazz Frye; and longtime friend, Betty Keen. Pallbearers will be Bobby Bridges, Robert Bridges, Woody Bridges, James Ives, Tommy McClinton and Stuart McLen. Honourary pallbearer will be Dr. Lamar Bridges. The family will receive guests from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster in Palestine. Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at Pilgrim Cemetery in Elkhart with the Rev. Willie Reagan officiating.
