Daughter of Joseph Blair and Mary "Polly" Stanton Blair Beard. Wife of Ensley Andrew. Bluffton, Indiana Evening News Tuesday, August 17, 1926 - P1C4 Mrs. Elizabeth Andrews[sic Andrew] Dies At Warren Warren Woman Passes Away Sunday Night, At Age Of 78 Mrs. Elizabeth Andrews[sic-Andrew], of Warren, died at her home Sunday night at 9:15 o'clock of old age. Mrs. Andrews was born on September 6, 1847, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Blare[sic-Blair], who were living in Salamonie township. She was married to Enzley Andrews[sic-Ensley Andrew] on February 13, 1863, and the couple resided on a farm near Milo until about thirty years ago when they came to Warren. Mr. Andrews[sic] died in 1903 and since that time Mrs. Andrews[sic] has lived in Warren. After the death of her daughter, Mrs. Urilla Swaim, twenty-eight years ago, she took into her home a five-month old girl, whom she raised. The adopted daughter is Mrs. Bascom Kidd, of Breckinridge, Okla. A son, Charles C. Andrews and a daughter, Lena L. Andrews, are deceased. Surviving children are: Mrs. Mary A. Green, of near Milo; Mrs. Sarah Lombard, of Warren; Elma A. Andrews of Tulsa, Okla.; and George A. Andrew of Lawrenceville, Ill. Ten grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Mrs. Andrews was a charter member of the Friends church in Milo. (Thanks to David Huffman for OBIT)
