Bio

s/o Ike Douglas and Jessie Gwendolyn Berry Dr. Douglas graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor of arts degree. From 1914-15 he became the principal and science teacher at Brandon High School, and from 1915-18 he was the principal and teacher of physics and chemistry at Coolidge High School. During the summers of 1916 and 1917 he taught science at Westminster College in Tehuacana, TX. He obtained his master's degree in 1924 from the University of Texas, and a PhD from the University of Chicago in 1928. He was married to Etta M Henderson of Coolidge, TX on September 19, 1916.
