D.G. Robinson Dies On Friday BIG SANDY (Spl) - Dorsey Green Robinson, 83, died Friday afternoon at his home in Big Sandy after an extended illness. Mr. Robinson was a deacon in the First Baptist Church and was a farmer and rancher. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mabel Robinson; two sons, D.G. Robinson Jr. of Big Sandy; Paul Robinson of Dallas; one daughter, Mrs. Aline [sic] Holden of Houston; and three grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Thomas E. Robinson of Dallas; three sisters: Mrs. Nell Mings, Mrs. Minnie Lutonsky, and Mrs. Mary Bennett all of Big Sandy. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Big Sandy with the Rev. Gene Davenport, pastor, and the Rev. John Wesley Smith, former pastor of the Big Sandy church, officiating. Burial will be in the Chilton Cemetery in Big Sandy. Arrangements are being handled by the Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer.
