Joseph VanMeter King City., Mo -Services foe Joseph Justin VanMeter will be held Sunday at 2p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home, King City. Burial will be in the King City Cemetery. Mr VanMeter, 81, died Thursday afternoon at a St Joseph hospital. Born in Rochester, Mo., he was a retired farmer. He had been employed for 16 years with Armour ane Co. in St Joseph before retiring in 1968. He had worked for Rufus Limpp in King City, restoring antique automobile for several years. Surviving are his wife ,Leona Neiderhouser VanMeter, of the home, five daughters, Luella Walker, Helena, Mrs Maxine Leimkiller, St Joseph, Doris Conley, Agency, Mo., and Dorothy Slaybaugh and Kay Jacobs, both of King City, four sons, Lee VanMeter, Wichita, Kan, James VanMeter, Union Star, Mo , and Harold VanMeter and Marvin VanMeter, both of St Joseph: a brother Harry VanMeter, St Joseph: 28 grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
