Bio

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on July 14, 2009 after a courageous battle with prostate cancer. He was born March 21, 1925 in Bingham, Utah. He married his childhood sweetheart, Margaret Fox Keetch, who preceded him in death in 1992. He later married Doragene "Genie" Norman. Jay served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946. He served on the U.S. Ammen in World War II in the Pacific Islands. He found great joy in the service to his country and our freedom. We will miss him dearly. Survived by his wife, Genie; son, Mike (Terri); seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), with a viewing one hour prior to the services in the mortuary.
