Laban David Bolling, Jr. 1939 ~ 2005 Laban David Bolling, Jr. passed away April 16, 2005 at LDS Hospital due to complications following heart surgery. He was born to Laban David Bolling and Doris Lee Daniels Bolling, Jan. 1, 1939 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Airforce. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a locomotive engineer. He had a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved the Lord. He is survived by wife Merla (Kay) Keetch Bolling, son Laban David Bolling III (Emmy), daughter Michele Howard; brothers Alfonso V. Bolling (Lois), Gregory Willis and a special cousin Aljay Harding (Kay); grandchildren Sadie Bolling, Aaron and Michael Howard; step children Richard Earl (Laurie), Nancy Lee (Steven), Jim Earl (Michele), Lisa Anthony (Steven); step grandchildren Kristin, Amy, Heather, Parker, Nicole, Dalton, Madison, and Sarah. One great grandson and two step great-grandsons. Preceded in death by father, mother and two grand children. He is loved and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Primary Children's Hospital in Laban Bollings name. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Utah Veterans Memorial Park 17111 So. Camp Williams Rd., Bluffdale. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 West, Riverton. Published in Salt Lake Tribune on April 19, 2005
