Obit: Crane--Art Wagner, 54 of Crane, died on Thursday, August 11, 2005, at Alliance Hospital in Odessa. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Lyndel Lee Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Crane County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home. Art was born on Feb. 6, 1951, in Odessa, Texas. He had been a longtime Crane resident. He was an Amway distributor and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lawanda Wagner on Dec. 16, 2003. Survivors include, father, Norman Wagner of Crane; son, Matthew Art Wagner of Charlotte, Texas; brother, Larry Wagner and wife Debbie of Odessa; niece, Lindsey Wagner of Odessa; nephews, T.J. Wagner and Lee Wagner both of Odessa; great-nephew, Ethan Drake Wagner of Odessa; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
