Bio

Daughter of Francis & Alliene (DeBaets) Krumbach. Married to Craig Burkett in 1995 at Winston-Salem, N.C. ∼ Jean M. (Krumbach) Howard, 46, passed away July 2, 2009 in Winston-Salem, NC. Jean was born on December 29, 1962, in Osceola to Francis and Alliene DeBaets Krumbach. She attended Shelby Public School in Shelby and graduated in 1981. She attended St. Joseph Beauty College and Platte Community College in Columbus and became an LPN. Jean married Craig Burkett and moved to Winston-Salem in 1995. To this union, two children were born, Kaitlyn and Benjamin. She performed in-home health care and worked as an LPN in various nursing homes. She was very active in the Pop Warner Youth Football program and was very proud of her children and followed their activities faithfully. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son Zachary Krumbach and friend Caroline Cook, her daughter, Kaitlyn Burkett, and son Benjamin Burkett, all of Winston-Salem; brothers, Joe (Barb) Krumbach of Osceola, Roger (Ruth) Krumbach of York, Tom (Mikie) Krumbach of Columbus; sisters, Kathleen (Dale) Donelson and Mary Jo (Mike) Uphoff both of Stromsburg; nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, July 6 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with Father Brian Cook officiating. Interment followed at Forsyth Memorial Park.
